In this role, you will immerse yourself in the innovative aspects of merchandising, collaborating closely with design and purchasing teams to curate new, commercially viable, and profitable collections for the organization.

This brand has been experiencing significant success, necessitating a focus on top-selling items while introducing fresh and captivating products. The company places a high value on the quality of merchandise offered to its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and oversee daily sales reports for the organization.
  • Maintain and revise forecasts across all product categories.
  • Communicate weekly with business stakeholders regarding OTB, stock levels, shipping updates, ROS, and trading strategies.
  • Take full responsibility for identifying trading opportunities and developing solutions for high inventory or "at-risk" items, including cancellations, phasing, and reworks.
  • Manage and comprehend relationships with partner brands, making critical commercial decisions regarding unit purchases, pricing, RRP, and wholesale margins.
  • Strategically plan product launches for retail and e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with external brands or partners is preferred.
  • Ensure that daily administrative tasks are completed accurately and promptly.

You will cultivate a strong partnership with your Buyer and sales team, assisting in all range development, approvals, and strategic meetings.

Your role will involve identifying best-selling products and items that require attention to drive new sales.

Collaborate with your Buyer to review product and supplier assortments, ensuring the right quality and designs are integrated into the business.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies, document lessons learned, and create weekly trading reports for the broader team.
  • Present your recommendations and actions confidently to senior management.
  • Establish a consistent pricing strategy across product lines.
  • Remain vigilant of competitive market trends.
  • Propose and manage promotional initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
