Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team at Caraffi. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • Develop and maintain architectural designs and blueprints for cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure solutions with existing systems and applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on cloud infrastructure best practices and architecture.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Architecture Models: Proficiency in using structured Architecture Models, such as TOGAF.
  • AI and Data Engineering: In-depth understanding of AI algorithms, data engineering, and the Azure cloud computing platform.
  • Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure services and tools, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Bot Service.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience in architectural design across multiple cloud platforms, such as MS Azure, AWS, GCP, and SAP BTP.
  • Cloud Architectures: Proven experience working with Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud Architectures.
  • Cloud Management: Familiarity with key Cloud Management Principles and Tools.
  • Core Cloud Platform Knowledge: Detailed architectural understanding in areas such as:
    • Cloud Compute, Virtualization, and Elastic Computing
    • Cloud Storage (Object/Blob, Block & File)
    • Machine Learning & AI
    • Virtual Networking (VNETs, VPCs, ExpressRoute Direct, Connect, etc.)
    • Availability Zones
    • Scaling strategies (Scale-up vs. Scale-out)
    • Scripting and Automation, with tools like Ansible and DevOps practices
    • Cloud Services: Experience with IaaS (including networking, monitoring, and data recovery aspects), PaaS/Serverless Computing, and SaaS.
    • Network and Security: Experience in Cloud Network Design and understanding of Cloud Security Principles & Cloud Adoption Frameworks.
    • SASE Architecture: Familiarity with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Architecture.
    • Certifications: Must hold a Cloud Architecture Certification.
