We're seeking a skilled Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our Vimto finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This exciting opportunity will support our Out of Home commercial team in delivering their business KPIs for their route to market, covering our range of owned and licensed post-mix and slush frozen drink brands, including Vimto, Pepsi, Coca-cola, and Star Slush.

As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will proactively support the teams with procedures and control systems to achieve financial and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include ensuring efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions and timely delivery of management information. You will also assist and advise the Finance Business partners and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and implementation of processes to meet evolving business needs and support the delivery of efficient and effective management reporting.
  • Effectively communicate with the Commercial Team, becoming a main point of contact.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Prepare monthly budget/forecast and prior year variance analysis for Senior Finance Business Partner.
  • Perform regular month-end accounting, including accruals and prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Regularly maintain and manage financial systems and data (Sage and Exceedra).
  • Prepare audit information prior to external audit.
  • Lead on customer discounts and retros.

Requirements:

  • Currently studying CIMA (preferable) or completed AAT with plans for further study.
  • Experience in an Assistant FBP role preferred, with some experience in a Finance role essential.
  • Comfortable using Excel to analyze data (pivots, look-ups, formulas, etc.).
