Job Title: Business Director - CX Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Director to join our team at Ogilvy, working closely with Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) to drive customer experience excellence.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to lead the strategic setup and vision for CX across two client squads, working closely with Ogilvy's strategic partners to uncover distinct insights and drive impact with customers.

You will be responsible for partnering with creative leads to elevate the quality of creative output, managing client expectations, and owning the client relationship from senior to mid-level clients.

As a Business Director, you will be expected to drive operating excellence, working closely with your PMO lead and team reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategic setup and vision for CX across two client squads
  • Partner with Ogilvy's strategic partners to uncover distinct insights and drive impact with customers
  • Partner with creative leads to elevate the quality of creative output
  • Manage client expectations and own the client relationship from senior to mid-level clients
  • Drive operating excellence, working closely with your PMO lead and team reports
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience within the CRM space, ideally with some digital and social experience
  • Experience working on complex brands, such as tech, utilities, or financial services
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to make friends and influence people internally and with clients
  • Charismatic leadership style, with an infectious energy that inspires people to do their best
  • Confident strategic thinker, with the ability to share a strategic point of view
  • Understanding of metrics and how to orientate the operation in service of driving them and delivering business success
  • Able to spot risks and threats early and protect against them
  • Excellent at managing up, with the ability to involve the LBG business lead in the direction being taken
