SQL DBA Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled SQL DBA to join our dynamic database team on a 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ongoing projects, independently managing tasks, making informed decisions, and working closely with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reliable SQL and database solutions.
  • Lead the migration of BI stacks from older versions to newer ones.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Visual Studio, and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Improve performance by optimizing BI-related code and analyzing SQL queries.
  • Oversee and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Support the entire data lifecycle in an agile environment.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members as needed.
  • Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Git, and PowerShell is advantageous.

This role is based in central London, and the SQL DBA will need to be on-site for two days per week.
