Position Overview

Employment Type: Full Time, 37 hours per week

The Transport Coordination Service is responsible for organizing transportation for clients of Devon County Council and various partner organizations.

Role Responsibilities

This position is situated within a dedicated team that focuses on booking and managing transportation for social care-funded passengers, specifically children.

The team processes transport requests from Social Care professionals, evaluates the most appropriate and efficient transportation options through a procurement process, and oversees the operational management of transport routes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time desk-based role (37 hours, Monday to Friday) within a small team setting. The position necessitates a significant amount of communication, proficiency in in-house computer systems, and strong organizational skills.

Currently, this role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for two days of office work, with the option to work additional days in the office if desired.
