About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at St Wilfrid's Priory Care Home. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality meals and snacks are prepared and served to our residents.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals and snacks for residents
  • Understand and promote the philosophy of choice rights and fulfillment for all residents
  • Get to know residents and understand their likes and dislikes to ensure a positive dining experience
  • Work collaboratively with the Home Manager and Chef/Cook to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
