Coal & Metals Price Reporting Lead

About the Role
Reporting to the SVP for Research and Analysis, Data and Technical Design, we are seeking a driven individual to lead our price reporting and index development activities within the Coal, Metals and Mining team. This role will oversee price reporting operations in the Atlantic region and spearhead the development of new price assessments in adjacent markets.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage the compilation of daily benchmark coal indexes and market reports, collaborating with a team of reporters and editors to ensure adherence to methodology and the Price Reporting Manual.
- Develop existing and new price indexes in adjacent markets such as metals and mining, working closely with stakeholders to identify market needs and trends.
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all price data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate price data into broader analytical platforms and reporting tools.
- Stay abreast of market developments and emerging trends within the energy, chemicals, and renewables sectors.
