Aerospace Project Manager Job Description

Are you a seasoned project manager looking for a new challenge in the aerospace industry? Do you have experience delivering complex projects and managing multiple stakeholders? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team at Page Personnel Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the PMO with the delivery of projects across the business and act as the focal point for internal stakeholders during the planning and initiation phases of a project.
  • Provide robust project governance in line with internal processes and industry best practice.
  • Develop, own, and implement project management plans, schedules, risk registers, and other associated tools.
  • Complete internal and external reporting, including schedule, financial, and quality performance.
  • Assist with bid development work as required, providing inputs on cost, schedule, and risk.
  • Provide assistance to account managers during the business as usual phase of a contract.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of delivering complex projects, ideally in an aviation, manufacturing, or technology environment.
  • Able to apply different methodologies as required, i.e., waterfall vs agile.
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently without impacting performance.
  • Experience of commercial and contract negotiation processes.
  • Proficient in a range of project management software tools, including MS Project.
  • Able to travel regularly within the UK and occasional international travel.
