We are seeking a skilled Calibration and Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturing company in Kent.
As a Calibration and Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of various instruments and equipment that measure heat, light, voltage, amperage, weight, vacuum, magnetic resistance, and more.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in calibration and maintenance, with experience working with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. You will be responsible for participating in authoring detailed documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and Calibration Schedules.
You will also serve as the technical lead within the maintenance team for any process control issues generated from PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. This will include i Fix and BATCH programming, coding, and fault finding.
Liaising with external companies or providers to resolve technical issues and support regulatory or customer audits as the site technical expert is also a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure Calibration and Maintenance Standards are maintained and optimized.
- Participate in authoring detailed documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and Calibration Schedules.
- Serve as the technical lead within the maintenance team for any process control issues generated from PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
- Liaise with external companies or providers to resolve technical issues and support regulatory or customer audits as the site technical expert.
- Relevant degree in a related field.
- Proven industry experience in a GMP environment.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. Specifically, you will have experience programming i Fix software and Batch, including coding and fault finding.
