LEAD DATA SCIENTIST - PERSONALISATION/RECOMMENDER

HYBRID ROLE

COMPENSATION PACKAGE: £60,000 - £75,000

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

Harnham is working with a leading retail company to progress their work in Machine Learning (Personalisation and Recommenders). They are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join their team.

The company is a prominent player in the retail industry, looking to leverage Machine Learning to enhance customer experiences.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end Machine Learning projects for personalisation of the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with a high-calibre team and stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Design and build predictive, segmentation, and personalisation-based models with a focus on retail-driven customer analytics.
  • Lead and manage one other Data Scientist.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of MSc in a STEM subject (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science).
  • Experience in personalisation, segmentation with a focus on CRM.
  • Retail experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with PySpark, Azure, or Databricks is a plus.
  • Proven management experience.
