About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at B&Q. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing a network of contacts and growing existing members by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize growth and revenue
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth
- Work closely with the stores to inspire and motivate the wider store team to create a culture focused on identifying trade opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service and support to trade customers
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the trade or house building market
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays
