Job Summary:

Vermelo RPO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team as a Product Development Specialist. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our product range to ensure business plan targets and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Collaborate with the Product Head to develop and maintain our product range, ensuring they remain current, competitive, compliant, and aligned with business targets.
  • Pricing and Analysis: Present pricing recommendations to the Product Head based on data analysis, broker intelligence, and market research.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research through broker intelligence, media, and personal contacts to stay up-to-date on developing issues and opportunities.
  • Underwriting Performance: Fully understand underwriting performance metrics to enable the collation and presentation of key account information to the Product Head at agreed intervals.
  • Product Maintenance: Manage and maintain our product range, ensuring they meet business targets and objectives.
