About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our team as a Product Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our range of products to ensure they remain current, competitive, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the Product Head to develop and maintain our product range, ensuring they meet business targets and objectives.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and stay up-to-date on market trends.
  • Pricing and MI: Analyze data and provide pricing recommendations to the Product Head, ensuring our products remain competitive.
  • Key Account Management: Manage key accounts and relationships, nurturing broker relationships to meet business needs.
  • Policy Issues: Investigate and respond to queries from the operational area in relation to policy issues.
About You
  • Experience: You will have experience as an Underwriter, with a strong analytical background and previous experience within the insurance market.
  • Skills: You will possess excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and market knowledge, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: You will have a good knowledge of Excel functions and data analysis, with the ability to present observations and proposed actions.
