Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to enhance our client's Product Team, which operates in a hybrid model.

Key Details:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in software engineering.
  • Location: Hybrid work model with options for remote work.
  • Compensation: Competitive salary up to £55,000 plus benefits.
  • Sponsorship: Please note that sponsorship is not available for this position.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver software solutions through program development, platform configuration, and customization.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Executing assigned tasks such as bug fixes and feature enhancements.
  • Conducting both automated and manual testing.
  • Gaining familiarity with the product's codebase and its modules.
  • Understanding primary Product Development tools, particularly SQLBUILD and the build process.
  • Learning key product processes, including code reviews and version control usage.

Technical Skills Required

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft technology stack, including C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.
  • Experience with ASP.NET technologies such as Razor, MVC, and web forms.
  • Strong SQL skills, particularly with SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Understanding of HTML5 and CSS.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
