Purpose
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer who is experienced working with backend technologies.

If you are passionate about designing and implementing REST APIs, proficient in Nodejs and Python for APIs and scripts, and have experience with relational databases, Redis and Azure cloud technologies, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing scalable and performant REST APIs using , you will work with Azure cloud services to deploy and manage applications.

Utilising Redis for caching and session management to enhance application performance, you will design and maintain relational database schemes and write optimised queries, collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.

Ensuring the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications, you will assist in the identification and how to correct bottlenecks, fixing potential bugs.

Expanding our capabilities with Python REST APIs and automation scripts, you will help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatisation.

What you'll bring

We are seeking a collaborative and enthusiastic Software Engineer who is willing to push boundaries to deliver innovative solutions utilising the latest technologies, whilst being open, sharing and not afraid to challenge the norm.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate past experience in back-end development, proficiency in and Express for building RESTful APIs.

Possessing strong experience with Azure cloud services, you will be experienced with Redis and relational databases, have a solid understanding of the full development life cycle and display your excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.

Familiarity with Frontend technologies such as React is advantageous.
