About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Guild Care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure the long-term sustainability of Guild Care.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the finance team in providing financial guidance and support to business managers, ensuring effective financial management and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Appropriate accountancy qualifications (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience in a senior financial role, preferably in a not-for-profit organization.
  • Significant management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of financial management and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong technical accountancy skills, with a good understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
