About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to join our team in a hospital setting. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, balanced, and appetizing meals to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our patients, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Culinary Operations: Oversee the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment, ensuring optimal usage and minimizing waste.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a high level of awareness regarding food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, ensuring compliance with Cygnet Health Care's standards.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Proven experience as a chef in a hospital or healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of nutritional requirements and menu planning.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
