Job Description

Job Overview

ZipRecruiter is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for delivering architectural projects through all work/RIBA stages, working on a range of conservation/historic buildings, and leading team/design team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Delivery of architectural projects through all work/RIBA stages
  2. Work on an exciting range of conservation/historic buildings
  3. Site visits
  4. Help with and coordinate the design and production of comprehensive design information
  5. Prepare and produce plans and documents for statutory approvals
  6. Lead team/design team meetings
  7. Take leadership of a project

Requirements

  1. Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
  2. Experience in project delivery and management
  3. Strong understanding of the UK Building and Planning regulations
  4. Proven experience working on all RIBA stages
  5. Proficiency in BIM/Revit an advantage
  6. Well-organized, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work and projects
  7. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  8. Leadership experience managing a small to medium-sized team
  9. Experience of taking responsibility for the financial success of projects, and strong commercial awareness
