Senior Dosimetrist Opportunity

At GenesisCare, we're committed to delivering innovative cancer treatments and exceptional patient care. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Dosimetrist to join our team in Cambridge, CB8 area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the treatment planning service at our centre, working closely with the local Lead Physicist and Centre Leader/Lead Radiographer.
  • Supervise and assist with patient dosimetry and treatment planning activities.
  • Liaise with cluster GCUK sites and the wider network to coordinate treatment planning activities.
  • Manage the delivery of patient dosimetry and treatment planning services to ensure timely completion of plans and tasks.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience in Dosimetry.
  • Specialist knowledge of treatment planning and radiation dosimetry applied to radiotherapy treatment.
  • Specialist training in treatment planning techniques, such as IMRT or SABR.
  • High level of IT skills and ability to communicate complex information across professional boundaries.
