At GenesisCare, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Dosimetrist to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our radiation therapy team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the treatment planning pathway and supervising the work of other dosimetrists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Supervise and mentor junior dosimetrists to ensure high-quality treatment plans
  • Liaise with cluster GCUK sites and the wider network to coordinate treatment planning activities
  • Manage the delivery of patient dosimetry and treatment planning services to ensure timely completion of plans and tasks

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in dosimetry
  • Specialist knowledge of treatment planning and radiation dosimetry applied to radiotherapy treatment
  • Specialist training in treatment planning techniques, such as IMRT or SABR
  • High level of IT skills and ability to communicate complex information across professional boundaries
