Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Summary

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Network Plus Services, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiencies, managing financial aspects, and optimizing regional performance for our clients. This position requires you to oversee all financial dimensions of projects, ensuring meticulous management of commercial and contractual issues. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving the desired profit margins while maintaining high standards of financial acumen. You will also be responsible for identifying, documenting, and monitoring both risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Duties

We are seeking a professional who can:

  • Oversee contract performance, including regular profit and loss reporting.
  • Examine contract documents to preemptively address potential issues.
  • Manage progress and cash flow forecasts effectively.
  • Handle commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs), and financial reports for projects.
  • Take charge of Subcontractor Management, including forecasting, issuing orders, and negotiating terms.
  • Prepare and assess subcontract documents and quotations.
  • Supervise subcontract orders, agreements, and the certification of valuations and payments.
  • Manage the change control process, along with risk and value management.
  • Track project changes, variations, and notifications diligently.
  • Evaluate and quantify variations and compensation events.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications, ensuring final accounts are agreed upon.
  • Participate in risk reviews, progress meetings, and commercial discussions with clients.
  • Engage actively in tender processes and pricing strategies.
  • Oversee credit control, focusing on cash recovery and forecasting.
  • Support the operational team with daily commercial and contractual matters.
