Financial Business Partner

St. Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious accountant to join their accounting team as a Finance Business Partner. This pivotal role will provide infinite vocational opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business partnering with senior management to provide detailed information, analysis, and recommendations on the financial position and course of business units.
- Leading the end-to-end financial lifecycle of multiple business units, including budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
- Producing detailed monthly reports on financial processes and performance.
- Business partnering with full commentary on P&L reviews.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
- Part or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Demonstrable experience in technical and commercial financial reporting.
- Complex MS Excel modelling and long-term forecasting skills.
- Sound IT capability and ability to quickly master bespoke accounting packages.
- Ability to converse clearly with senior management and department heads.
- Problem-solving attitude and desire to improve and streamline processes.
This role sits both in and out of the core financial function, requiring a strong understanding of financial processes and a ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
