TRAILER MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
We are seeking a skilled Trailer Maintenance Specialist to join a leading organization in the transportation sector. This is a Permanent Position that offers excellent career advancement opportunities, with a competitive salary range of £38,000 - £44,000 (based on experience), along with a company vehicle, a £1000 signing bonus, and enhanced holiday benefits.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm
45 hours per week
Position Details
The role of Trailer Maintenance Specialist is a Permanent position that can start immediately, with flexibility to accommodate any notice period required by your current employer.
Key Responsibilities
As a Trailer Maintenance Specialist, your primary duties will include:
- Conducting inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers to ensure they meet high maintenance standards.
- Ensuring all vehicles are operated in compliance with road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Performing roadside repairs as necessary.
- Executing brake, suspension, general repairs, routine services, and 6-weekly inspections.
- Delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to specified deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
To qualify for the Trailer Maintenance Specialist position, candidates must:
- Possess prior experience in trailer maintenance.
- Be capable of completing necessary documentation and have a basic understanding of computer systems.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Hold a valid UK Driving License.
Additional experience in the following areas would be advantageous, though not mandatory:
- Welding
- Maintenance of double-deck trailers
Benefits Offered
- Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 (dependent on experience)
