The Centre for Reviews and Dissemination at the University of York is seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to contribute to our evidence synthesis research programme.
We are an academic research department that specialises in evidence synthesis and health technology assessment, achieving a top ten place in REF21. Our systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis projects span a broad range of health and public health areas, providing best evidence to inform policy and practice decisions.
As a Research Fellow, you will work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to research activities across our research programmes. This may include working on NIHR Evidence Synthesis Group projects and those commissioned under our NIHR Policy Reviews Facility, to provide policymakers with research evidence and facilitate its use in their decision-making.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to developing methods and to funding applications. We value diversity and are committed to equality of opportunity and fostering an inclusive culture where we can all be ourselves.
Requirements- A Masters level qualification in a health science, social science or applied statistical subject
- A relevant PhD or equivalent research experience in a relevant topic
- Experience of conducting systematic reviews in health and care topics and sound knowledge of the methodologies involved
- Strong written and oral communication skills
