Job Summary

Certes is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer with current SC clearance to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our growing support team on all things IT hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hardware Support: Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, Apple smartphones, and iPads.
  • Technology Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of Windows 10/11, iOS, Azure AD, InTune, and M365 application suite.
  • People Skills: Demonstrate excellent customer-facing skills, work effectively as part of a team, and possess problem-solving abilities.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support Microsoft authentication yubikeys.
  • Support peripherals.
  • Act as a roaming resource to service hardware needs.
  • Modify existing hardware.
  • Manage printer faults.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues and malfunctions at users' desks.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to create new components.

Requirements

  • Experience in hardware support and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, iOS, Azure AD, InTune, and M365 application suite.
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
