IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized IT Support Specialist to join our team at Bruton Knowles. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a key role in providing technical support and assistance to our staff, ensuring that our IT systems and infrastructure are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical support to staff, resolving IT-related issues and queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Administer and maintain our IT systems, including user accounts, software, and hardware.
- Assist with the management and resolution of IT incidents, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Coordinate and implement IT projects, working closely with senior IT analysts and other stakeholders.
- Perform data searches, extracts, and transfers, as well as update report and letter templates.
- Support with subject access requests and other administrative tasks.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of IT procedures and best practices, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
- At least 1 year's experience in an IT team environment, with a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of relational databases and table structures.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- IT security awareness and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience with financial/accounting software and workflow/business process management software.
- Knowledge of project management software, such as ChangePoint or Microsoft Project.
- 25 days' holiday per year.
