Job Summary
SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITY CO-ORDINATOR (SENDCo)
We are seeking an experienced and highly committed SENDCo to lead high-quality SEND provision across the school. The successful applicant will provide clear guidance for staff on implementing quality first teaching strategies to raise achievement for students with SEND, as well as establish and manage bespoke interventions to support the academic, social, and emotional progress of identified students. They will also manage our dedicated and experienced team of learning support staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective SEND strategies to support students with special educational needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on implementing quality first teaching strategies.
  • Establish and manage bespoke interventions to support students with SEND.
  • Manage the dedicated team of learning support staff.
