The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity, a meticulous eye for detail, and a dedication to providing an extraordinary dining experience. As the Executive Culinary Director, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that the events are complemented by exquisite cuisine.
Key Responsibilities of an Executive Culinary Director:
- Plan, cost manage, and deliver all food production in both central and remote catering areas for events and on-site catering outlets.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and meet the diverse needs of our clientele.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and oversee cost control to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Stay updated with industry trends.
What We Require from You:
- Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Executive Culinary Director from an events venue or event catering background.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Creative flair with a passion for culinary excellence and innovation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
