Medical Records Scanning Specialist

Adecco is seeking a skilled Medical Records Scanning Specialist to join their team at a renowned hospital in Bedford. As a Medical Records Scanning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in efficiently scanning and preparing medical records.
Key Responsibilities:- Scanning and preparing medical records to meet quality standards
- Ensuring correct batch header sheets or "intelligent bar codes" are used to prepare event notes for scanning
- Operating high-resolution scanners to meet quality standards
- Monitoring the quality of scanned images and making necessary amendments
- Collecting event notes according to priority and scan receipt schedules
- Completing quality assurance processes according to established standards
- Participating in mandatory training to uphold service standards
- Sensitivity and experience in handling medical records
- Solid understanding of case note structure and current documentation filing policies
- IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to undergo training to operate high-resolution scanners and handheld scanners effectively
- Discounted parking for individuals living over 5 miles from the hospital
- Two weeks of comprehensive training
