About the Role

Vodafone UK is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our technology strategy aligns with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the overall IT architecture for Vodafone UK, ensuring it meets business requirements and performance goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for a portfolio of related applications within our technology organization.
  • Lead design reviews to ensure compliance with our target architecture throughout the development life cycle.
  • Lead architecture efforts for small to medium projects or participate in architecture teams for larger programs.
  • Manage the delivery of technical solutions that provide business value to Vodafone through effective right-time, right-cost, and right-solution design.
  • Collaborate with product vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional teams to achieve these goals.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise in solution design.
  • Understanding of what it means to be a digital company.
  • Knowledge of multi-channel customer service.
  • Ability to work in a technical environment performing technical design and/or system analysis roles across technical domains.
  • Demonstrated technology background with associated academic technical qualification and/or experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present technical solutions in business-friendly language.
  • Enthusiasm and a keen attitude to developing knowledge in existing and upcoming technologies.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong self-management skills to manage workload and complete assigned tasks to time and quality.
  • Desired: TOGAF certification or significant architecture experience at a strategic level.
