Role Overview
The purpose of this role is to assist in the definition, articulation, and governance of the end-to-end Business Operations application architecture across various local markets and global business functions, thereby supporting our worldwide operations. This position within the technology strategy and architecture team will focus on maintaining the architectural capability framework, establishing clear boundaries with other technology domains, and providing architectural guidance to both group functions and local markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop target state and interim state architectures while maintaining a reference architecture model. Define and sustain the IT Roadmap for Group Functions. Create capability roadmaps that are driven by value. Review, align, and govern solutions for local markets and global business functions. Shape new demands, align them with our target architecture, and manage long-term roadmaps and solution catalogs. Prepare architectural guidance for group functions, local markets, and project teams. Ensure that solution architectural designs comply with the Vodafone enterprise architecture guidelines and principles.Responsibilities Include:
Engage in the creation and maintenance of overall Enterprise Architecture deliverables, including Strategy and Reference Architectures, while coordinating input from diverse architecture stakeholders. Participate in the creation, ownership, and publication of the IT Architecture and Strategy, collaborating with Local Market Architecture Leads to align local strategies, architectures, and roadmaps with the overall IT Architecture and Strategy, Enterprise Data Model, and IT Roadmap. Collaborate with local markets and group technology teams to implement Digital organizations, fostering inner source communities, co-creating Architecture Blueprints, and supporting the rollout and optimization of DevOps tools and Agile methodologies. Contribute to the design and execution of Architectural Governance across relevant stakeholders and participating Vodafone organizations. Produce, support, and guide the delivery of Target, Transitional, and Solution Architectures for business and IT transformation initiatives through appropriate Architectural Artefacts, Deliverables, and Communications.Who You Are:
Ability to articulate and define complex architectures in a straightforward manner to stakeholders, supported by a structured analytical approach and high-quality Architectural Artefacts and Deliverables. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence senior levels across Vodafone Local Markets, Partners, Affiliates, and Suppliers, presenting complex ideas simply. Experience in effectively presenting Architecture concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders is essential. Industry experience in Telecommunications, particularly in deploying solutions at a large enterprise scale, with preferred expertise in cloud engineering and API-driven architectures. Knowledge of SAP is also valued. Proven track record of delivering projects that span multiple disciplines, ideally within a large telecommunications and/or Digital organization, encompassing Enterprise Architecture, Business, and IT environments. Comprehensive knowledge of applications, integration, and data architecture methodologies and industry best practices, with a particular emphasis on cloud solutions.What We Offer:
