Job Title: Lead Reliability Engineer

CSL Seqirus is seeking a highly skilled Lead Reliability Engineer to join our team in Liverpool. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a reliability strategy to achieve consistently high system availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a site-wide reliability centered maintenance program for our biopharmaceutical manufacturing site.
  • Implement asset reliability assessments of process and utility equipment, providing technical leadership and expertise.
  • Utilize reliability engineering tools to maximize equipment reliability, including CMMS, RCM, RBI, and RCFA.
  • Apply engineering theory and practices to perform failure analysis, determine root cause, and develop engineering solutions.
  • Analyze equipment trends and historical data to recommend improvements and justify high reliability of production equipment.
  • Establish and prepare site reliability KPI data/dashboard to ensure adequate focus on equipment reliability.
  • Support the development of maintenance standards and best practices, including preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Recommends and implements reliability improvements for systems.
  • Directly or indirectly manage engineers or maintenance technicians.
Qualifications:
  • Substantial related experience with reliability engineering within a relevant industry.
  • Understanding of maintenance and reliability best practices, including condition monitoring and RCM.
  • Experience with CMMS systems (SAP-PM, Maximo).
  • Industry expert in mechanical systems, plant, and equipment for a large-scale bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
  • Strong leadership, organizational planning, and project management skills.
  • CMRP certification preferred.
