Job Title: Lead Reliability Engineer

CSL Seqirus is seeking a highly skilled Lead Reliability Engineer to join our team at our Liverpool site. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing a reliability strategy to achieve consistently high system availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a site-wide reliability centered maintenance program to optimize maintenance practices and improve overall process and facility reliability.
  • Conduct asset reliability assessments of process and utility equipment, providing technical leadership and expertise to ensure accurate and effective assessments.
  • Utilize reliability engineering tools such as CMMS, RCM, RBI, RCFA, and PM Plan optimizations to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Apply engineering theory and principles to perform failure analysis, determine root cause of equipment failures, and develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures.
  • Analyze equipment trends, historical data, and uptime data to recommend and justify improvements to obtain high reliability of production equipment.
  • Establish and prepare site reliability KPI data/dashboard to ensure adequate focus on equipment reliability.
  • Support the development of maintenance standards and best practices, including preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Recommends and implements reliability improvements for systems.
  • Directly or indirectly manage engineers or maintenance technicians, providing mentoring and coaching for engineering or technical staff.
Requirements:
  • Substantial related experience with reliability engineering within a relevant industry.
  • Understanding of maintenance and reliability best practices, including condition monitoring and RCM.
  • Industry expert in mechanical systems, plant, and equipment for a large-scale bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
  • Strong leadership, organizational planning, and project management skills, in addition to technical knowledge, to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
  • CMRP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrix organization and indirectly leading others.
