The Area Sales Manager - Lighting role at BMS Performance presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our team and drive business growth in the lighting sector. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the electrical wholesale industry, including branch managers and sales teams.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including tenders and quotes, to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
- Work closely with our lighting engineers and designers to provide technical support and solutions to customers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the organization.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, as set by management.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in B2B field sales, with a focus on electrical wholesale customers or electrical/building services products.
- Strong understanding of the lighting industry and its trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Valid driving license.
