We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to join our team as a Patient Service Coordinator in the Emergency Department. This role is responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient service to patients and relatives, processing patients using the Care Flow EPR System, and liaising with clinicians and colleagues to facilitate a smooth and timely flow of patients through the department.
Key Responsibilities- Register patients on the Careflow EPR clinical system
- Update patients' demographic details when required
- Issue Cas Cards for the Clinical staff for triaging patients
- Answer reception telephone and deal with any queries
- Send out discharge letters to GP and Health Visitors
- Prep notes for scanning
- Scan notes, upload to clinical system and quality check
- Book appointments for plastics clinic and Consultant review clinics
