Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual to join our team as a Junior Maintenance Engineer - Simulator Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running and proactive maintenance of our commercial Full Flight Simulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily fly-outs on Full Flight Simulators prior to operation.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated systems.
  • Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated systems.
  • Utilize our maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.
  • Perform secondary duties, including calibrations, tool inspections, and minor repairs.
  • Carry out logistics duties, including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.
  • Run automatic and manual Qualification Test Guide (QTG).
  • Comply with our quality management system.
  • Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Perform housekeeping functions to maintain simulators as required.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Understanding of Electrical and/or Mechanical Systems.
  • Understanding of IT and Networking.
  • Understanding of fault finding principles.
Desirable Qualifications
  • HNC/HND in aircraft related discipline (Avionics).
  • HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
  • HNC/HND in IT and Computing.
Working Conditions

This role involves working a variable work pattern, which may be changed at any time to meet the company and customer needs. The role covers a 24 x 7 working pattern.

The successful candidate will be required to comply with regulatory requirements and work in accordance with procedures applicable to their tasks. Any potential for non-compliance or the introduction of a hazard or risk will need to be reported to the Training Centre Maintenance Manager.

The candidate will also be required to make themselves familiar with and comply with all Quadrant Systems Limited Health and Safety procedures and complete all courses in a reasonable time when requested.
