Job Summary:
Mansell Recruitment Group Plc is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Professional to join our team. As a Project Engineering Professional, you will be responsible for managing and controlling projects to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor the development of quality plans to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Review and evaluate sub-contractor bids to ensure technical and commercial viability.
- Distribute and review drawings and documents to clients and suppliers, ensuring timely and quality submission.
- Compile and control contract variations, status reports, shipping lists, erection instructions, and installation, start-up, and maintenance instructions.
- Manage sub-contractors to ensure the product is supplied to order and specifications, and within the contracted delivery date to fulfill overall project objectives.
- Undertake duties and responsibilities as described, managing and controlling contracts to achieve completion in time within budget as directed by the Projects Director/Project Engineering Manager.
- Travel to meetings with clients and suppliers as required.
Requirements:
- Qualifications to HND/Degree level in an engineering discipline are preferred.
- Candidates with a strong project engineering or project management background within a technical environment will be considered.
- Previous experience working in a project environment with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget is essential.
- Possesses good commercial acumen.
