About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated English Teaching Assistant to support our teachers and students at our secondary school in London. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping to nurture a love for English language and literature while assisting with various classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging English lessons, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Provide one-on-one or group support to students needing extra help, tailoring your approach to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Help prepare teaching materials, ensuring that all resources are up-to-date and relevant to the curriculum.
  • Support all students to ensure equal learning opportunities, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Requirements
  • A passion for English language and literature, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and teaching methods.
  • A positive attitude towards education, with a commitment to supporting the academic success of all students.
  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant is beneficial, but not required. We are happy to provide training and support to the right candidate.
