Job DescriptionEnglish Graduate Teaching Assistant Role
Are you a highly motivated English Graduate looking to gain valuable experience in a school environment? Do you have a passion for teaching and a desire to work with students who require additional support?
We are seeking an English Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves Limited. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to provide a high-quality education to students studying KS3 & GCSE English.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students studying KS3 & GCSE English in a school environment
  • Work under the direction of an award-winning English department led by an inspirational Head of English
  • Collaborate with qualified SEN professionals and specialist teachers to provide individualized support to students
  • Participate in school-centered teacher training to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:
  • Obtained or on track to obtaining a 1st class or 2:1 in an English-based degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
