Group Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Tax Accountant to join our established Midlands In House Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of group corporate tax compliance, ensuring tax compliance and reporting across the company, and supporting with R&D tax claims and Transfer Pricing.
Key Responsibilities- Manage tax audits and investigations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to the strategic tax planning for the group, identifying opportunities for tax savings and optimization.
- Work closely with other departments to provide tax advice, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising on implications for the business.
- A relevant professional qualification in Tax, Accounting, or a similar field.
- Proven experience in a similar role with corporate/direct tax.
- Proficiency in tax software and other related IT systems.
