Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Specialist to join our team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit corporate tax returns using Onesource software, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Year-End Tax Provision Calculations: Conduct thorough reviews of year-end tax provision calculations and periodic balance sheet reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • BEPS Pillar 2 Compliance: Assess and implement BEPS Pillar 2 compliance requirements, working closely with finance and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Transfer Pricing: Manage all aspects of transfer pricing, including documentation and calculations, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Employment Tax Compliance: Assist with employment tax compliance matters, including PSA and ERS filings.
  • Internal Risk Management: Maintain ongoing compliance with internal risk management policies and identify process improvements within the Group.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with HMRC and other tax authorities as required.

Requirements:

  • Tax Qualification: Tax qualified with CTA, ICAEW/ICAS or recognised equivalent with relevant experience.
  • Corporate Tax Skills: Strong corporate tax skills, including experience of international tax.
  • Tax Accounting Skills: Strong tax accounting skillset.
  • BEPS Pillar 2 Knowledge: Knowledge of BEPS Pillar 2 is useful.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Communication: Good communicator.
  • IT Skills: Excellent IT skills, including data manipulation.
  • Process Improvement: Interest in process and process improvement.
