About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Tax Accountant to join our established Midlands In House Tax team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of group corporate tax compliance, ensuring tax compliance and reporting across the company, and supporting with R&D tax claims and Transfer Pricing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax audits and investigations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax returns and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to the strategic tax planning for the group, identifying opportunities for tax savings and optimization.
  • Work closely with other departments to provide tax advice, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • A relevant professional qualification in Tax, Accounting, or a similar field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role with corporate/direct tax.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other related IT systems.
