We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Loss Team Manager to join our team at South West Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of leakage technicians and field analysts to detect and repair leaks in our water distribution network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of leakage technicians and field analysts to ensure the effective detection and repair of leaks in our water distribution network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve leak detection and repair rates, and to reduce unaccounted for water.
  • Work closely with our network services team to ensure that leak repairs are prioritized and completed efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of leak detection and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with our field team to ensure that all necessary information is provided to our partner repair contractors to facilitate effective leak repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of leakage technicians and field analysts.
  • Strong knowledge of water distribution network operations and leak detection techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
