Lead Production Coordinator

We are seeking a Lead Production Coordinator to oversee a diverse portfolio of premier YouTube Channels focused on various topics. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management abilities, a background in digital video production, and a genuine enthusiasm for YouTube. Familiarity with animation processes and managing in-house post-production teams is a plus.

Your role will involve assisting content creation teams to maintain streamlined workflows from the initial concept through production, post-production, and final delivery. You should be detail-oriented, resourceful, a proactive self-starter, and an effective communicator.

Key Responsibilities

Production Duties:

  • Manage scheduling and coordination of personnel and resources.
  • Ensure project boards are fully optimized with relevant information at the start of each video project and accurately maintained throughout its lifecycle.
  • Assist with meeting administration and agenda preparation.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date Google Drive.

Post-Production Duties:

  • Assign relevant content ID numbers to all projects.
  • Oversee media management within post-production software, including folder creation, access control, and final deliverable verification.
  • Coordinate with subtitle and language reversion suppliers, managing asset supply and deliverable receipt.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Accurately track project budgets and expenses.
  • Process and log invoices, expenses, and credit card receipts promptly and accurately.

Human Resources Duties:

  • Manage recruitment, contracting, and onboarding processes for staff and freelancers.
  • Track freelancer hours effectively.
Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 4 years in digital video production or a fast-paced animation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Production Coordinator or Senior Production Coordinator in video production.
  • Proficient in using project management software.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong skills in scheduling, budget oversight, and cost management.
