Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Group Accountant to join our team at INEOS. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining the Group's Financial and Management Accounts, working closely with the Group Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the IGH S.A. and INEOS Industries Ltd consolidated statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
  • Deal with audit queries on IGH and Industries Groups, providing timely and effective responses.
  • Prepare the IGH S.A. consolidated quarterly report, meeting investor deadlines.
  • Liaise with directors to obtain letters of support and representation for the UK statutory accounts.
  • Review and analyze monthly management accounts for IGH and Industries.
  • Coordinate and supervise the consolidation of annual budgets for the entire INEOS group.
  • Prepare the Group budget, including desk charges and management fees.
  • Calculate virtual debt charges and prepare slides for Group CFO and Group FC.
  • Assist with group refinancings, including the preparation of an Offering Memorandum.
  • Provide ad-hoc project support, such as the 5-year plan.
  • Lead and develop the Group Financial Accountant.
  • Work closely with the Group tax and treasury team.
  • Ensure timely reporting of Foreign Subsidiary Regulation and turnover analysis to Group Legal department.
  • Provide support to Group CFO and FC as required.
  • Maintain and update the Group Accounting manual.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise and support for ad-hoc queries from the businesses.
  • Contribute to the delivery of Group Finance projects, including corporate activity, finance system developments, and new accounting standards.
  • Oversee the design and operation of controls over reporting processes.
  • Plan the year-end processes, including liaison with external auditors.

  • Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels across the Group and externally.
  • Self-motivation and ability to organize own time effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong technical skills in IFRS.
  • Ability to effectively manage the Group Accountant.
