Position Overview

Role Title: SAP Financial Consolidation Specialist

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (approximately 2 days per week in the office)

Location: United Kingdom

Compensation: £500 per day

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Available Positions: 2

Role Summary:

This position entails providing support for SAP Financial Consolidation within an Application Development and Maintenance framework, necessitating a broad range of expertise. The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring compliance with Risk Control Matrix (RCM) protocols, updating existing operational procedures, and performing various user access assessments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Regularly verify that team operations are in accordance with the Risk Control Matrix (RCM).
  • Ensure that operational guidelines and user documentation are current and accurately maintained.
  • Keep detailed records of risk acceptance where applicable.
  • Execute user access evaluations for privileged and generic users.
  • Oversee access distribution across groups and countries, including follow-ups and response collection.
  • Manage quarterly reviews of inactive users, including necessary follow-ups.
  • Facilitate annual review processes, ensuring thorough follow-ups and response collection.
  • Guarantee timely processing of leavers in all relevant systems.
  • Conduct proactive ad-hoc assessments as required.
  • Perform regular peer evaluations of configurations and Business As Usual (BAU) modifications.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Solid understanding of financial systems audits and ITIL methodologies.
  • Experience with or involvement in SOX audits is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of business objects, databases, SAP applications, and Cloud IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Thorough comprehension of control requirements in a dynamic financial setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial consolidation system operations.
  • Residing in the UK to ensure effective contributions.
  • Familiarity with BFC SAP financial consolidation products, covering both functional and non-functional aspects, is a plus.
