Key Responsibilities- Commercial Risk Management: Identify and manage commercial risk on new and existing contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Contract Administration: Prepare, develop, and implement commercial strategies for pre and post-tender, including contract negotiation and administration.
- Financial Management: Manage the Profit and Loss of the sector and projects under your stewardship, including the production of financial reports and statements.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of commercial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of commercial objectives.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and suppliers, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the sales team to develop and implement commercial strategies.
- Experience: Proven experience in a Senior QS or Commercial Manager position, with a strong background in client management, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of NEC contracts, construction law, and standard forms of contract, as well as knowledge of engineering and client standards.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
