Fujitsu Research of Europe (FRE) is a multidisciplinary center that conducts research and innovation to transform businesses and society. As part of Fujitsu's global R&D activity, we are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Quantum Computing Researcher.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to conduct research on quantum algorithms and applications of quantum computing. The successful candidate will collaborate with researchers from FRE and external academic partners to generate IP and publish work in top academic conferences and journals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on quantum algorithms and applications of quantum computing
  • Collaborate with researchers from FRE and external academic partners

Requirements

To be suitable for this opportunity, you will be pro-active in your approach, adaptable and able to demonstrate that you have:

  • PhD (or MSc and equivalent experience) in a relevant field: physics, mathematics, computer science or related
  • Academic background in Quantum Information Theory would be a plus
  • A track record of substantial contributions to research projects in Quantum Computing or a related field
  • Strong programming skills, familiarity with quantum SDKs such as Qiskit, Pennylane or pytket
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
