About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Learning Support Assistant to join our ASC Centre team at Bracknell and Wokingham College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with Autism and other associated difficulties on courses designed for those with Autism and associated difficulties or supporting students to access their course.
  • Facilitate individual learning programmes, provide support to learners in small groups and 1-1 activities when attending the ASC Centres.
  • Collaborate with ASC Coordinators to meet the needs of learners and facilitate their learning using creative and purposeful lesson planning.
  • Support learners to access learning on their course within the mainstream learning environment and off-site activities.
  • Personal care may be required as part of the duties, with training provided.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills to work with tutors and ensure the delivery of an effective programme of further education.
  • Ability to work as part of a co-ordination team.
  • A willingness to learn about Autism and other associated difficulties.
